The Missy Foundation Supporting Us

The Missy Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness, advancing research, and improving outcomes for individuals affected by brain aneurysms. Founded in memory of Melissa “Missy,” the foundation supports early detection, funds scientific research, and advocates for higher standards of care. Through education, outreach, and strategic partnerships, it works to save lives and drive innovation in brain aneurysm diagnosis and treatment.

NOVA Neuro and one of its founding Center of Excellence, the ATLAS Center, are honored to have received a $144,500 grant from the Missy Foundation to support the launch and initial phase of our multi-omics brain aneurysm research. We are deeply grateful for their generous support and shared commitment to advancing this important work.

A Breakthrough Research Project

Co-led by NOVA Neuro and University at Buffalo Neurosurgery, in partnership with Prima Mente - a US-UK AI-first precision neuroscience company with newly developed capabilities in collaboration with Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, and OpenAI - this groundbreaking research initiative aims to uncover the biological drivers of brain aneurysms through advanced multi-omics profiling.

By integrating high-dimensional multi-omics data with state-of-the-art AI analysis, the project seeks to identify novel biomarkers for early detection, track disease progression, and potentially accelerate the development of targeted therapies. This unique collaboration combines clinical leadership, cutting-edge computational science, and a shared mission to transform how brain aneurysms are understood, diagnosed, and treated.

• Prima Mente, a breakthrough precision neuroscience company pioneering AI-first approaches to decode complex brain diseases.
